G. Flint Taylor, a founding partner of The People’s Law Office and a guest of CR-CL in this year’s Progressive Symposium, recently obtained reparations on behalf of victims of police torture in Chicago. In a resolution adopted by the City of Chicago, torture victims will receive monetary and non-financial reparations, including psychological counseling, free tuition at city colleges and other job training, and a public memorial.
