The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) is asking authorities in New York to provide protection for Masjid Noor Mosque. The Mosque was vandalized on Monday as approximately thirty people attended religious services inside. This is the fourth time the Mosque has been attacked since August. Police are treating the continued vandalism as “possible hate crimes.”
