A three-judge panel in the Ninth Circuit has granted an emergency request by the government to stay the injunction against “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”; this is only a short-term emergency stay to give the court time to evaluate the injunction. A full decision on whether to stay the injunction until an appeal is complete should come next week.
