It is the height of folly to suggest that an American can be denied a job or a promotion because he is white without violating civil rights laws. Instead of victimizing whites, Harvard civil rights academics should spend more time focusing on why, despite billions poured into public education, blacks still cannot pass a basic knowledge test. To deny a black person a job or promotion because he lacks the knowledge for the position, and to instead award the position to a white person who does possess the core job knowledge is not "discrimination." It is common sense, basic fairness and adherence to workplace standards of competence. Blacks have equal opportunity. They are not entitled to more than that, nor are they entitled to a job or a promotion for which they are not qualified.

What garbage. Everyone was given the same (equal) opportunity. If you're not among the best qualified for the job, you don't get the job. Race is irrelevant. Case closed.
